Job Description

Main Duties/Key Results Areas:

  • Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers while based in the office (customer base mainly exist of large supermarkets, cash & carries and wholesale outlets).
  • Perform needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Communicating with customers via telephone.
  • Customer satisfaction.
  • Supply reports on customer needs, problems and services.
  • Manage chain stores.
  • Managing of requests and queries.
  • Manage diary and schedules.
  • Confirming that processing on each account is complete before period closure.
  • Filing
  • All and any other related duties as expected from the employer from time to time.

Required skills:

Prospective applicants must comply with the following requirements:

 

  • Proven work experience with marketing in the FCMG sector (min 3 years' experience)
  • Diploma/Degree in marketing.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Outlook programs.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with proven track record of sales.
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detailed oriented & meticulous attention to detail.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Being up to date on the latest office gadgets and ‘tech savvy’ will be an advantage
