• Reading blueprints and specifications
• Monitoring operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
• Recommending adjustments to the assembly or production process.
• Inspecting, testing, or measuring materials or products being produced.
• Measuring products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometres.
• Operating electronic inspection equipment and software.
• Removing all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
• Reporting inspection and testing data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected.
• Ensure quality control reporting and record keeping is maintained.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric). Quality control course/certificates will be advantageous.

Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

Skills:

• Must have exceptional computer literacy (Microsoft Excel is essential).
• Knowledge of policy and procedure.
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
• Willingness to learn.
• Must have a positive attitude.
• Timely and well organized.
• Excellent observation and analytical skills.
• Good technical skills.
